SVGSlice is a plugin for the vector drawing application called Inkscape. It adds the ability to "slice" a drawing into many final images. The most common use for this is to generate the individual images that are used to build a webpage (or web template) from a single source image.
SVGSlice is highly integrated with Inkscape. To setup slicing, you simply need to add a layer in Inkscape, and draw rectangles representing each slice. SVGSlice will then use this layers contents as a guide when generating your output. The slice information can be kept within your drawing, as you simply need to turn off the layer's visibility to prevent it from affecting your artwork.
