Peaceforge

PeaceforgePeaceforge Peaceforge is a wiki, much like Wikipedia.

The goal is to create a place where those interested in peace can work together to study conflict, finding out what behaviour patterns cause conflict, what can be done to ease tensions, how we can rebuild peace, and how we can make it last.

The site is largely my own work, developed with some assistance from Espen Sivertsen, who was an intern at The Nonviolent Peaceforce when we initially setup the site. We've also had a few independent contributors so far.

Most of the content is missing at the moment, as I've just upgraded the site, and need to transfer the old content over. Eventually, the new site will be much improved though.

I'm also beginning to import a lot of content from Wikipedia, using their excellent but general documentation of wars, conflicts, nations, etc., as a basis for something deeper, that's more focused on conflicts and peace.

Peaceforge is a public project, and I'd like to encourage everyone to do whatever they can to help.
