I see that Novell are still claiming some authority and innovation in the Linux world. I had almost expected them to be ashamed of themselves by now, and trying to slowly, gently make amends.
Lately I've been working on a preliminary proof-of-concept version of my PipeLine Interface. Currently, I'm calling this simply "workflow".
Well, my KDE4 port of KatchTV is on the backburner for a while, as KDE's Trunk doesn't seem to have compilable python bindings right now :(
It seems they're doing a remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still. That could potentially be an amazing thing! Given most remakes of classics lately though, it could well be a disaster. We'll see.
Wow, I just noticed that The Nonviolent Peaceforce is selling Peacebonds. These are a lot like the other charitable "alternative gifts" from the likes of Oxfam, for people who don't want to give yet more material junk at christmas etc. Generally they're a great idea, I think, but Peacebonds particularly catch my interest.
So this is my new site, and new blog. I'll be importing all of my old blog entries and keeping things up to date, but for the moment, this is it.
